About Us

MEDINVEST has successfully restored a former textile production facility that had been abandoned for decades and our mission goes beyond simply reviving a 1960s industrial building. We aim to create new job opportunities for young people in Medvedja, offering them stable employment within their community. Additionally, we hope to contribute to efforts to slow the region’s depopulation, a trend that began during the difficult years of the Yugoslav wars.

The factory has been restructured with energy efficiency in mind. We utilize recycled warm air for heating and convert waste materials into reusable resources. The facility is equipped with geothermal heating and cooling systems, double-glazed windows for insulation, abundant natural light, wooden flooring, and the capability to recycle leftover textile fibers.

The factory now produces a range of men’s and women’s socks, both short and long, using cotton, wool, and technical fibers that are suitable for sports and everyday wear. We use advanced, state-of-the-art machinery for high-quality production, while simpler machines handle basic sock manufacturing. All equipment has been installed to meet modern standards, ensuring the health and safety of our workers.

Our socks are naturally ironed using steam, with materials sourced from neighboring countries. We have also established an in-house research, development, and design center, led by talented young professionals. By combining their innovative ideas with the expertise of our production leaders, they will help create the socks of the future.

Our ultimate goal is to make Medvedja a recognized center for sock manufacturing, with our brand known across Serbia and throughout the European textile industry.
